For almost 2 decades, Dr. Ann Maurer has worked with clients both as an internal or external coach or consulting partner in the areas of individual and organization-wide assessment and development.  She works to build better business results by strengthening individual and team competence by working directly with clients to foster personal and business-focused learning and behavior change.

 

She has designed and implemented numerous organization-wide processes which help employees manage their development and help organizations engage and manage talent.  Specifically, she is experienced in developing and implementing assessment, 360-Degree Feedback, selection, performance management, career development, and employee engagement programs.  In addition, she has developed, implemented, and managed organization-wide survey processes.

 

Prior to establishing her own practice, Dr. Maurer worked as an internal consultant for Global Human Resources at The Coca-Cola Company.  She focused on individual assessment, employee development, and organizational diagnostics, including the first global employee survey process, which is still in use today.  She worked one-on-one with senior leaders, as well as managed global project and implementation teams.  Before time with The Coca-Cola Company, she was a client relationship manager and senior consultant for Towers Perrin and a consultant with The Hay Group, specializing in competency model development, 360-Degree Feedback, and performance management.  She started in Atlanta at BellSouth Corporation in staffing, developing selection systems.  While at University of Georgia, she worked with the Carl Vinson Institute of Government, running assessment centers for State Trooper promotions.  A constant part of her work has been coaching and training individuals.

 

Dr. Maurer earned a Bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in vocal performance from Florida Southern College, earned MS and Ph.D. degrees in applied (industrial/organizational) psychology from the University of Georgia, and is a licensed psychologist in the State of Georgia.
