BARBARA A. REILLY, PH.D. - Senior Consultant
Dr. Barbara Reilly is a professor
in the Department of Management in the Robinson College of Business
at Georgia State University. She received her B.S. from Texas
A&M University and her M.S. and Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational
Psychology from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. Her
post-doctoral continuing education has included a concentrated faculty
development series in International Business from USC.
In her capacity as professor,
Dr. Reilly teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in Organization
Development & Change, Organizational Behavior, Team Design &
Development, Consulting, and General Management. Dr. Reilly teaches
Organizational Behavior in the Executive MBA program and serves
as the residency coordinator for the incoming EMBA classes.
She is the graduate advisor to all Organization Change Master's
students. She conducts orientation sessions for all incoming
MBA students (approximately 2000 students/year). She is also
an invited faculty member at the Touch the Earth Outdoor Ropes Experience.
Her research interests center on large scale organizational
changes, compensation equity, survey feedback, working in groups
and team building, managing diversity, and managing resistance to
change. She has published articles in the Journal of Applied
Psychology, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes,
Thinking & Reasoning, The Industrial Psychologist, Cases in
Organization Development, HR Atlanta, and other management journals.
As a Senior Consultant for
Turknett Leadership Group she delivers coaching for change and coaching
for development with executives in over fifty organizations across
the United States and in Canada. She is a member of various
professional organizations and provides pro bono consulting services
for several non-profit agencies.
