10/07: Dr. Robert (Bob) and Carolyn (Lyn) Turknett, founders of Turknett Leadership Group, proudly announce the retention of Sandra Hofmann as a member of the firm’s Advisory Board.  Hofmann, who served as Turknett’s Chief Operating Officer for the past two years, recently accepted an offer to serve in the same capacity for Closets and More, a Marietta, Georgia-based company that specializes in customized home and office storage spaces. 5/10/07: The newly formed Georgia Women's Institute recently appointed Susan Hitchcock, Turknett's Executive Director of Women's Initiatives to serve on the Charter Board.  Ms. Hitchcock will serve as the Chair of the Public Relations and Communications Committee. The Founding Board includes Nellie D. Duke, Chair; Dr. Mary Lou Frank, Vice-Chair; Linda Muir, Esq., Secretary; and Linda Torrence, Treasurer.

4/21/06: Bob Turknett to receive inaugural Entrepreneurial Leadership Award from Jacksonville University.

The Entrepreneurial Leadership Award was created to honor a JU alumnus who demonstrates success as an entrepreneur with a unique product, service, strategy or system; who exhibits integrity and ethical business behavior; and who strives to instill the spirit of entrepreneurship in others.

2/05: Over 450 business leaders recently joined Turknett Leadership Group and Kennesaw State University's RTM Institute for Leadership, Ethics and Character to honor integrity in Georgia business at the 2nd Annual Leadership Character Awards held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel February 25th in Atlanta. The ceremony celebrated the character and integrity of 62 nominees, and awarded the winners, a select group of five individuals and two organizations that best exemplify the standards in the Turknett Leadership Character Model . 1/05: Turknett Announces Partnership with Kennesaw State University. KSUs RTM Institute for Leadership, Ethics and Character will join Turknett Leadership Group in honoring the winners of the second statewide Leadership Character Awards at a luncheon on February 25th, 2005 at the Grand Hyatt in Buckhead.
