January 27: “PINK Leaders Taking Charge” featuring Cynthia Good , CEO & Founding Editor, Little PINK Book. Award-winning journalist, successful business owner, and creator of “the #1 online resource for America 's 70 million working women.” Internationally recognized as an expert on women's advancement, she's a frequent guest on CNN Int'l, CBS, ABC, CNBC, and FOX—in addition to numerous keynotes for Fortune 500 corporations. Cynthia also hosts an annual fall event series featuring some of America 's most influential women who speak to sold out crowds across the country. Starting her journalism career as a TV news reporter and anchor, she created programs, wrote six books, and has received some of the most prestigious awards in the industry. Cynthia also supports numerous charities, serves on non-profit boards, and is a wife and mother.

February 24: “ Show Your Heart You Care: What Women Should and Should Not Do for Heart Health ” featuring Dr. Nanette Wenger , Prof. of Medicine in the Div. of Cardiology at the Emory Univ. School of Medicine and Consultant, Emory Heart & Vascular Center. A pioneer, global leader and a legend in cardiology, Dr. Wenger was the Georgia Commission on Women's 2010 WOTY. Winner of over 18 prestigious awards for her achievements and lifetime contributions throughout her distinguished career, including The Gold Heart Award, the highest honor presented by the Amer. Heart Assoc.; the Hatter Award, an int'l award for the advancement of cardiovascular science; and the Healthcare Heroes Lifetime Achievement Award. She's also authored/co-authored over 1,400 scientific articles and book chapters and is listed in the Best Doctors in America guide. Dr. Wenger is equally revered for teaching thousands of medical students, inspiring them as well as her own daughters to become doctors.

March 27: “Women Who Changed America” featuring Jill S. Tietjen , President & CEO of Technically Speaking, a national consulting company specializing in improving career opportunities for women and girls in technology. She's also an electrical engineer (certified Professional Engineer - PE), and co-author of Her Story: A Timeline of the Women Who Changed America . She also published the series Setting the Record Straight. This series explores the history of women in accounting, engineering, and professional achievement and helps establish Tietjen as one of the country's top historians on scientific and technical women. Note: This is a TUESDAY program. Ms. Tietjen is in Atlanta for another meeting and to help us celebrate Women's History Month. She will also bring copies of her book to sign.

April 20: “The Human Side of Business Transformation” featuring Stacie Hagan , Chief People Officer, EarthLink. As a member of the executive team, she's responsible for overall people strategy design and implementation including succession planning, talent development, compensation, benefits, employee relations and compliance. In recent years, she has focused on business restructuring and change management ranging from disciplined cost management to business transformation through multiple strategic acquisitions. Prior to EarthLink, Stacie was co-founder and Pres. of SynerChange Int'l & held a faculty position at The Leader Academy in Belgium . Co-author of The Chicken Conspiracy: Breaking the Cycle of Personal Stress and Organizational Mediocrity (1999), she serves on the Executive Committees and Boards of T AG and the HR Leadership Forum. Stacy is a graduate of Yale University.

May 18: “Leading in the World of Technology, Intellectual Property, Global Business and the Law” featuring John Yates , Partner-in-Charge / Technology Practice, and Louise Wells , Managing Partner, Morris Manning & Martin, LLP. One of America's leading lawyers and internationally recognized, John has represented over 100 companies, has spoken in over 250 forums, and serves / has served with more than 35 professional, civic, and educational institutions. Awards include a 2011 Turknett Leadership Character Award; TAG's first “Leadership of Influence” Award and Community Builder Award; and the John Yates Award for Community Leadership created for him by United Way . Equally impressive, Louise Wells was the first female lawyer at MMM and has now become one of only 5 female law firm “MP's” in Atlanta . She's also a founding partner of MMM's Residential Real Estate (RE) Practice. Representing some of the SE's largest lenders and with 30+ years in RE, Louise became a mentor to many young female RE lawyers. Her community service includes Board Vice Chair of Horizons Atlanta and Board member of Mothers & Daughters Against Cancer & Holy Innocents Episcopal School.

June 29: “Leadership in an Orange Apron: From Cashier to President” featuring Ann-Marie Campbell, Southern Division President, The Home Depot. She's responsible for sales and operations of more than 640 stores and leads a team of more than 100,000 associates in 15 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, and St. Thomas . Born in Jamaica , Ann-Marie came to the U.S. with plans to pursue a career in medicine but, instead, found her future in retail with Home Depot. During her 20+ year career, she's served in various corporate positions while rising in the management ranks, e.g., operations, merchandising, and vendor services. Ann-Marie is a graduate of Georgia State University where she earned a degree in philosophy and an MBA. She's a member the National Scholars Honor Society and serves on the advisory board for the Atlanta Union Mission. She's also a wife and mother of two sons.

July 27: “Leadership in Support of Our Troops & Our Allies” featuring Shan Cooper, General Manager, Lockheed Martin, and the first woman to lead that facility. Managing the design and production of the world's finest aircraft is more than a job, it's her calling. She oversees over 8,000 people and operates five aircraft programs while also responding to customers, the community, and various political constituents. Shan received an MBA from Emory and attended Rutgers Global Executive Masters program. Earlier in her career, she held leadership positions with Lucent Technologies and consulted with other Fortune 500 companies. In the community she serves on the Board of Boy Scouts, the Cobb County Chamber, the Woodruff Arts Center , and Wellstar Foundation. Her honors are many including YWCA Woman of Achievement and Women of Color in Technology Corp. Responsibility Award.

August 24: “Seeking Balance in Our Lives: How a Medical Doctor Becomes the First Female Rabbi in South America” featuring Rabbi Dr. Analia Bortz who, along with her husband, started the Or Hadash congregation in Sandy Springs. In addition to being an ordained Rabbi and medical doctor, Dr. Bortz is also a bioethicist, an educator, an advocate for women's rights, and a member of the Metro Atlanta Interfaith Movement. As an educator, Dr. Bortz has 20+ years teaching adults and children from synagogues to children's hospitals, to the University of Buenos Aires , and Catholic University of Valparaiso-Chile. As a doctor, she has served in public and private hospitals and clinics around the world. She has also created bioethics committees and continues to do research in this area. Rabbi Analia is a Senior Rabbinic Fellow at the Shalom Hartman Institute in Jerusalem and serves on CHOA's Bioethics Committee.

September 21: “Secrets of Success of a Multi-Disciplinary Leader” featuring Kat Cole, President of Cinnabon, Inc. which operates 770 franchised locations WW. She's also a member of the leadership team of FOCUS Brands, Inc. Previously Kat was VP of Training & Development for Hooters of America. A graduate of the University of Florida with an MBA from Georgia State University , she's past Chair of the Board for the Georgia Restaurant Assoc. and serves on the Board of the Women's Foodservice Forum. Awards include FOCUS Brands' Presidential Service Award; 2007 “International Woman of Influence” (GlobalExec Woman Magazine); and “Motivator of the Year” Award in 2008 from the Elliot Leadership Institute. Besides her business acumen, Kat is also known for her communication and strategic skills, her mentoring and leadership skills, as well as her expertise in personal branding.

October 26: “Global Marketing and Branding in the 21 st Century” featuring Wendy Clark, SVP, Integrated Marketing Communications and Capabilities, The Coca-Cola Company. Identified as “one of the most important women in marketing” in AdAge Magazine, listed among Fortune Magazine's “Women to Watch,” and an inductee into the American Advertising Federation's “Advertising Hall of Achievement”, Wendy launched Coke's first-ever global mobile marketing campaign and the “Open Happiness” campaign. Prior to her current company, she was SVP of Advertising for AT&T and was at the helm of the company's most ambitious re-branding campaign. Wendy also serves on the Board of the Assoc. of National Advertisers and The Jack & Jill Late Stage Cancer Foundation. A Florida State University graduate, she lives in Atlanta with her husband and three children.

November 16: “Lessons in Collaboration and Leadership” featuring Lisa King, PhD, VP - Insights and Innovation, Newell Rubbermaid. Lisa holds doctorate and master's degrees in engineering and psychology from Georgia Tech and is best known as a business problem solver, mentor, and collaborator extraordinaire. Prior to her current role, she worked with The Boeing Co. and BellSouth. While in the aerospace arena, she worked with rocket scientists and astronauts from around the world on building the International Space Station and was one of only a few women in her field. Her experience also includes helping to create innovative learning tools that can be used in the classroom. Lisa is well respected by everyone who knows her because she's not only a thought leader, but one who demonstrates empathy and humility. She's also a wife and mother and focuses on nature and wildlife in her spare time.

December 21: “Delivering Top Results While Managing Change” featuring Trish Jones, SVP & Chief Emerging Technology Officer, Turner Broadcasting and Carrie Wheeler, SVP/ CIO, Cbeyond. Both are winners of the 2011 Women in Technology/Women of the Year awards. Besides her success at TBS, Trish's career includes significant roles with The Coca-Cola Co. and Powell, Goldstein, Frazier & Murphy law firm. Equally accomplished outside the business and legal arena, she's on the Board of the Human Rights Campaign Foundation and chairs the G eorgia Center for Child Advocacy. Another high achiever in business and the community, Carrie is known for her motto “Lead.Create.Deliver.” Through her technical expertise and supportive leadership style, Carrie has had a major impact in her current role as well as previous positions with MCI, AT&T and BellSouth. Within Cbeyond, she advises their internal Women's Network, sponsors Girls Inc., and was nominated for TAG's Educational Collaborative.
