Tino Mantella

Partner and Senior Advisor

Tino Mantella joined Turknett Leadership as President and CEO in October of 2018 and is now a Partner and Senior Advisor. Over the course of his career, he has led some of the nation’s largest non-profit organizations as well as for-profit companies in diversified fields such as human and social services, health, and technology.

Under his guidance, the Technology Association of Georgia and the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago became the largest institutions of their kind in North America. His track record of accelerating impact related to the lives of people, the congruity of teams, and the effectiveness of organizations is evident in his national publication recognized reputation of being a versatile, innovative leader. His current focus is on seeing that the Turknett mission of ‘spreading leadership character around the globe’ is carried out to its fullest extent to impact a greater number of people and leaders.

Career Highlights

  • Led team to build the largest tech trade association in North America with growth from under 350 members to over 36,000
  • First not-for-profit recipient of Fast Company’s George Land award for innovation
  • Disseminated over $50 million dollars toward finding cures for arthritic diseases
  • While CEO of a growing for-profit company launched a program to recruit Regional Presidents. Today, there are over thirty leaders, representing the company, across the USA
  • Ran the largest single-room occupancy housing complex in the state of Illinois
  • Launched what has become a prestigious 501-C6 organization focusing on National Security Policy
  • Recognized by Governor Deal for service to the state of Georgia
  • Successfully spearheaded a gang intervention initiative for the City of Chicago for Mayor Richard M. Daley. During the summer of the program gang deaths in the focus-region of the city declined from sixteen to zero
