The Titan 100 program recognizes Georgia’s Top 100 CEOs & C-level executives. They are the area’s most accomplished business leaders in their industry using criteria that includes demonstrating exceptional leadership, vision, and passion. Tino began his journey as a CEO when he took over the Chicago YMCA in 1991. Over a decade, he grew the Chicago YMCA into the world’s largest YMCA, with 4,500 employees and serving over one million people. The organization was also recognized by Fast Company for its innovation as a non-profit. In 2004, Tino took his talents to the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), becoming their President & CEO. Under his leadership spanning twelve years, TAG grew from only 350 members to 36,000, becoming the largest technology trade association in North America. TAG has helped propel Atlanta to become a technology hub, supplying millions of dollars to technology companies, some of which today are worth over $1 billion in valuation.

Today, Tino is the President & CEO of TLG. Since he began his tenure in 2018, the company has seen unprecedented growth. The company now has over 30 consultants. In 2021, the University of Georgia Alumni Association recognized TLG as one of the fastest-growing companies owned or operated by UGA alumni (Bob & Lyn Turknett). When asked about his success, Tino gave credit to not himself, but to those around him.
“I don’t like to say the ‘I’ word because I believe that anything I have been fortunate to accomplish is because of ‘we’. It’s about the team,” Tino explained. “The team here at TLG is highly-regarded and diverse, and that diversity has allowed us to say ‘yes’ when asked to deliver a service with much greater frequency.”
Tino will be honored at the Titan 100 awards on May 12th, 2022, at Zoo Atlanta: Savanna Hall. One of the city’s most treasured historic buildings, the 1921 building has been revitalized by Zoo Atlanta for its new life today. As home of the Atlanta Cyclorama for more than 90 years, the building is famous for its grand scale and neoclassical architecture. This unique cocktail-style awards event will gather 100 Titans of Industry and their guests for an evening unlike anything that exists in the Georgia business community.
