Every year, the HR community in Atlanta and beyond congregates for SHRM-Atlanta’s biggest event of the year, SOAHR. Turknett Leadership Group (TLG) will once again be a strong presence in 2022, sponsoring two separate panels, as well as booth #106! The SOAHR 2022 conference will take place on July 26th and 27th at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta, Georgia.
“TLG is proud to have the opportunity to again host a booth at the SOAHR Conference,” Said Tino Mantella, President & CEO, TLG. “Through the years, we’ve found this to be an excellent environment to learn from HR professionals about the challenges and opportunities they and their companies are facing, and how we can best support them.”
The first panel, slated for Tuesday, July 26th, at 11:30am, will be Leadership Lessons from Marvel. Facilitator Tim Huff, VP of Leadership Development, will be joined by Vicki Abelson, Senior Consultant, TLG, Grant Shih, Chief Information Officer, National DCP, LLC, and Josh Nickell, VP, Equipment Segment, American Rental Association. who will explore the top leadership lessons seen in Marvel superheroes. With over 76 superheroes to choose from, there are a plethora of leadership lessons to glean from. There may even be one from your favorite superhero!
The second panel, taking place on Wednesday, July 27th, at 2pm, will be Conscious Capitalism: How Human Centric Business Drives Greater ROI. Our own President & CEO, Tino Mantella, will be featured as a panelist and will be joined by Shane Jackson, President of Jackson Healthcare, and Valerie Mackey, CEO of WrightNow solutions, who will explore the ROI of human centric business practices such as higher purpose, conscious leadership and culture, stakeholder orientation, and more. The panel will be facilitated by Shannon Gill, Program Chair and Board Member, Conscious Capitalism, Atlanta. They will deliver insights on the significant impact these practices can have on the HR function, and why it matters more than ever before.
“Conscious Capitalism (CC) is a growing movement,” said Tino. “The companies that have successfully incorporated the concepts of CC into the fabric of their business generally outperform organizations that don’t. Our panel looks forward to bringing the concepts and benefits of CC to life for our audience in hopes that some will be raving advocates for the movement.”
